Studying further, tackling a new situation or just keen to know more about your profession? The Professional Resources collection is for the teachers of subscribing schools, and provides books and videos on school management and improvement, equality issues and bilingualism, early years education and child development, all National Curriculum areas, the theory and practise of teaching, and more.
Five items - in addition to the loan allocation from the Loans and Artefacts Collections - can be borrowed at one time, for three weeks. There is a small collection of relevant journals for reference. We currently support an Early Years PGCE and a Masters degree in Ethnic Minority Achievement, both based in the Barnsbury Teachers Centre in Islington.
